I'm a frizzy-haired designer, pixel perfectionist, and sentimental human being.
As a child of the Neopets era, I'd spend most of my time on the family PC, teaching myself how to design my own custom pet pages & profile layouts. From learning bbcode, to html/css, then eventually Photoshop, I carried my love for digital art and technology up until college, where I eventually got my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design & Media.During university and my self-exploration years, I discovered that I had other passions besides design. I always found myself being a mediator in a lot of situations, really wanting to listen and & help others with whatever they needed. So in addition to my design degree, I also took on a family studies & therapy minor to help fulfill the other half of the void I felt I was missing.
After these experiences, I've trained to not only become a pro at creative (& emotional) problem solving, but I also have an eye for detail, with an emphasis in brand design. A HUGE part of my why is being able to learn about each individual's stories so that I can authentically help assist you build your brand from the ground up. Being a natural empath, I believe every person's story deserves to be heard and I'd love to have an open discussion with you. Whether it's about design or not, my DM's are always open!
My other hobbies include crafting, eating (dairy-free) ice cream, taking 5+ hours doing my own nail art, creating extremely detailed travel itineraries, collecting kitschy home decor/furniture, & going to live concerts ☺
The design process

Once you inquire and your questionnaire form has been submitted, we’ll schedule a 60 min. discovery call to chat, get acquainted, and see if we’re a good fit!

In this phase, we’ll determine the creative direction of your brand through research and mood boarding and really try to dig deep to better understand your brand and expectations.

After moving forward with a direction, we’ll begin the design process and first rounds of designs will be presented. Feedback and any further revisions will be discussed until the final design is polished and ready to go.

Once designs are approved and finalized, we’ll begin the send-off phase and package up all necessary files needed for launch. We’ll make sure you are fully equipped to move forward with your fresh new branding!

Absolutely! If you’re looking for another service not included in the packages, please let me know in your inquiry and we can customize your own personal package based on your needs. Investment costs will be quoted per project.

Yes, of course! We understand its a huge commitment and investment for new business owners, so we try our best to be flexible! Our most standard payment schedule consists of two payments of 50%: first payment due upon contract signing, and the second payment being due 4 weeks after.
If you’re looking for a different payment schedule, let’s work something out!

We are typically booking at least 1-2 months in advance so please try to plan accordingly. For rush projects that need immediate attention, please send an email at hello@carmelinne.com — only a limited number of projects may be accepted (not guaranteed)* with an applied rush fee.

I truly believe that a logo alone won’t be able to tell your entire brand’s story. I highly recommend investing in a full brand identity, which includes primary logo & submarks, brand strategy, typography suite, color palette, and more.

My typical office hours are Mon-Fri | 9:00 - 6:00 PM PST. Because I do handle multiple projects at once, please expect a response time of 24-48 hours.
